Sterling Lodges
Sterling Ski Club owns two lodges, both located in Vermont: one in Brattleboro, the other at the base of the
T-Bar on Sugarbush North.
Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Everybody is expected to take
responsibility for cleaning up before they leave. Reservations are required, and
are made at the weekly club meetings. A member may host up to two guests. During
the winter months, the lodges tend to fill up quickly, especially on event
weekends (Club Races Weekend, New Years Eve, Learning Weekend, etc.), so be sure
to make your reservations at the Thursday meetings in time for your plans. Neither
lodge has a TV, although members occasionally bring their own. Discount tickets
are available through the club to many ski slopes.
Brattleboro Lodge
The Brattleboro Lodge was built in 1959 by lodge members, and is entirely
owned by Sterling Ski Club. It is maintained by members of the club, with major
repairs performed in the spring and fall during work weekends (participation is
not currently required, but is highly encouraged, and a great way to get to know
other members). There are mens' and womens' dorms on the second floor, each with
separate, full bathrooms, having five(5) bunks (10 beds) per dorm. The basement
has four(4) bedrooms, one with four(4) bunks, and the other three rooms with two
(2) bunks, and a full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped (bring your own food)
and has a counter. The living area has a fireplace with a conversation area,
a living/dining area with large table, and several couches in a separate conversation area.
There is a ski tuning bench in the basement, along with storage for skis, boots
and equipment.

Glen Ellen Lodge
Located at the base of the T-Bar on Sugarbush North, the Glen Ellen Lodge sleeps
a total of twenty(20) people. Upstairs (the main level of the lodge) there's a
double bed room (sleeps two), a bunk room (sleeps two) and a family bunk room
(sleeps four). The half-basement has two bunk rooms and a full bathroom; the womens'
and mens' dorms both sleep six people apiece. There is also a ski-tuning area in the basement.
There's a full kitchen, separate dining room and a living room which extends from
the rest of the house and is sided on three side with windows; it has a fireplace
which protrudes into the room. You can ski out to the lifts from the lodge.
